Loudoun County Board of Supervisors Member Koran Saines will host the annual Spring Job Fair for the first time on May, 14, 2016, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The job fair will be held at Claude Moore Recreation Center, which is located at 46105 Loudoun Park Lane in Sterling. Supervisor Saines plans to feature over 30 Loudoun employers from varying industries including technology, trade/construction, healthcare, hospitality/food service, retail, transportation and service.
Democratic challenger Koran Saines beat out four-term incumbent Eugene Delgaudio (R) in the Sterling District. With a vote talley of 3,251 to 3,037 Sterling voted for a new Supervisor for the first time in sixteen years. Supervisor-Elect Saines said, "This was a team effort and many people fought hard for this victory. This victory belongs to all of Sterling. The election is over, but our work to better our community has just begun."

Koran Saines has won the endorsement of the Loudoun Chapter of the Virginia Police Benevolent Association.
According to a quote from Loudoun County PBA Chapter President Sean Dikeman, "These candidates’ knowledge and experience on issues that are important to law enforcement professionals make them deserving recipients of our endorsement."
Sterling, VA – Koran Saines, Sterling District candidate for the Loudoun County Board of Supervisors won the endorsement of the United Food and Commercial Workers Union Local 400. UFCW Local 400 represents 35,000 members working in the retail food, health care, retail department store, food processing, service and other industries in Maryland, Virginia, Washington, D.C., West Virginia, Ohio, Kentucky and Tennessee.
Sterling, VA – Koran Saines, Sterling District candidate for the Loudoun County Board of Supervisors won the endorsement of the Service Employees International Union’s Virginia 512 Chapter. The Virginia 512 Chapter is a part of the broader Service Employees International Union, an organization of 2-million members united by the belief in the dignity and worth of workers and the services they provide and dedicated to improving the lives of workers and their families and creating a more just and humane society.
Sterling, VA – Koran Saines, Sterling District candidate for the Loudoun County Board of Supervisors won the reccomendation of the Loudoun Education Association PAC today. The Loudoun Education Association is an advocacy organization for quality public schools and public school employees where members work collaboratively and organize for action to reach the common goals of the Association. LEA is available to all LCPS employees and is over 3300 members strong and growing.
Sterling, VA – Koran Saines, Sterling District candidate for the Loudoun County Board of Supervisors won the endorsement of the Dulles Area REALTORS® Political Action Committee. The Dulles Area Association of REALTORS® (DAAR), founded in 1962 and serving over 1,400 REALTOR® and Affiliate members, works to safe guard and advance the mutual interests of the public, property owners, and real estate professionals for real estate-related matters.
Koran Saines secured the Democratic nomination for the Sterling Supervisor seat. The vote count was 220 for Koran Saines, 215 for Tony Barney, and 118 for Bahri Aliriza. Koran thanked Tony and Bahri for running clean and spirited races.

Our team just found out that we outraised both of our opponents by 2.5 to 1 in the first quarter! Koran raised $12,873.00, Tony Barney raised $5,148.70, and Bahri Aliriza raised $1,300 for the quarter. While we are very happy, we CANNOT stop yet!
