Sterling Supervisor Saines to Host His First Annual Job Fair on Saturday, May 14th

Job Fair Flyer
Seeking Diverse Employers to Recruit & Volunteers to Support the Event.

Loudoun County Board of Supervisors Member Koran Saines will host the annual Spring Job Fair for the first time on May, 14, 2016, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The job fair will be held at Claude Moore Recreation Center, which is located at 46105 Loudoun Park Lane in Sterling. Supervisor Saines plans to feature over 30 Loudoun employers from varying industries including technology, trade/construction, healthcare, hospitality/food service, retail, transportation and service. Currently, Bechtel, MWAA (Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority), YMCA of Loudoun, Reston Limousine and Wegmans are a few of the companies that have signed up to recruit prospective employees at the event.

“I am proud to bring a large, diversified job fair to Sterling residents,” said Supervisor Saines. “I am recruiting Loudoun employers specifically because I want to support the local businesses but especially because I would like to see fewer residents commuting such far distances.”

Loudoun employers that are looking to hire for the summer and beyond are highly encouraged to attend the job fair. The target pool of applicants is broad and includes teens to college students and recent college graduates to the unemployed and underemployed.

At the spring job fair, residents will be able to learn about internships, career/job and volunteer opportunities within the county. In addition, the event will offer entrepreneurship resources for those who have always wanted to start their own businesses. Supervisor Saines welcomes Loudoun residents of all age groups to take advantage of the anticipated array of job opportunities. Individuals may visit RSVP.
